Its all about the Macro!

Here is a Bann Special and Curry's Red Shrimp. Tied on Alec Jackson singles. They really are a beautiful hook to tie on but I'm not yet convinced on how they hook. I would like the wire a bit finer which would set a little bit easier in my mind. I feel you would have to really focus on setting these hooks with a good strike after the take. That's in my mind though, have not tried them yet.

Im using a Nikon D3100 DSLR camera now with a Tamron 70-300mm lens with a macro function. Picked it up second hand and having fun getting to grips with it.
